This Website is dedicated to the Biblical concept that we must yield our hearts entirely to the Lord Jesus Christ to find purpose and joy in our lives.  

There are two ways in which we must yield our hearts to Christ:

1.  Salvation:  Have you been Born Again?  If not, you need to learn  about God's plan for the redemption of your soul, for "Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved." (Acts 4:12 - see also John 3:3, 16-21; ).  You can know for a certainty that you will have a home in heaven someday!  

2.  Sanctification:  If you have been Born-Again (Saved by the precious blood of Christ - 1 Pt 1:18, 19) then God has a plan and purpose for your life that can only be fully realized if you yield your ALL to Him by making Him the Lord of your life (1 Cor 1:2; Phil 3:8; Col 3:17; Gal 5:22f).  Ultimately, God wants us to be made in the image of Christ (Rom 8:29).  

What does it mean to yield everything to Christ?  

It means we take  everything - our family, our health, our job, and all our material possessions - and we place them at the foot of the cross.  We give our everything to Christ (Rom 12:1, 2).  This is difficult for American Christians because we live in such an affluent society.  The Zacchaeus Project will help you to yield your material possessions to the Lord and will equip you to be a blessing to other Christians.    

To grow in Christ, we must also learn to control the lusts of the flesh - sexual immorality is a serious problem in America because of our moral relativist culture.  We can overcome sexual sin, however, to live fully for Christ.  

Speaking of moral relativism, understanding some fundamental concepts about philosophy (God's vs. Satan's) will equip you to stand on solid ground instead of shifting sand as you pursue a life of holiness.
